This is a miracle album that would not have been possible without the help of Johan from Helmond, Netherlands. Johan had been helping Jimmy overcome his problems, and sacrificed so much of his personal life to help Jimmy. Johan came to me for advice on how to help Jimmy’s career. My advice was simple: take things one step at a time and focus only on Jimmy’s health. However, I proposed the idea of producing a video series for my DC Music School and half jokingly mentioned the possibility of making an album too. The idea pleased Jimmy very much, and this album is the result. When I found out Jimmy did not have access to a good guitar, I asked my friends Christiaan van Hemert and Tommy Davy from Django Guitars if they could help out. Tommy arranged for Jimmy to pick up an Altamira guitar to practice on at Christiaan’s home in Den Haag. We recorded two songs with this guitar (Angelo and Tripotism). For the entire month before going to the studio, Jimmy practiced 12 hours a day to bring his level back, and boy did he! This was truly a magical moment captured for the world to witness.
